Revenue-Capture Score

The revenue-capture score is Revvye's single 0-100 number summarizing how well a business's public website converts an already-interested visitor into a booking, call, or sale. It is not an SEO score — it weights findings by dollar impact, so a broken checkout or booking path outweighs a thin meta tag.

The revenue-capture score is built from eight measured dimensions — booking friction, local visibility, AI readiness, mobile, trust, CTA clarity, follow-up readiness, and service-page quality — each checked against a named rule in Revvye's public rule taxonomy and scored 0-100. Those dimension scores are combined using weights that follow revenue, not search-engine convention: a rule that flags a broken checkout or a booking link that never loads outweighs a rule that flags a missing meta description, because the first one stops a paying customer and the second one does not.

This is the core distinction between a revenue-capture score and a traditional SEO or Lighthouse score. Lighthouse tells you how fast a page loads. Revvye's score tells you whether a visitor who already wants to buy can actually complete that action on your public site. A site can have excellent technical SEO and a low revenue-capture score if its booking form is broken, its reviews never mention the service being sold, or its consultation path buries the CTA behind a generic contact form.

Every point lost from 100 traces back to a specific, named rule and a piece of evidence Revvye found on the public page — never a black-box deduction. Severity (critical, high, medium) then sets fix order independent of the raw score, because a site can score reasonably well overall while still bleeding revenue through one critical, unaddressed leak.

Revvye publishes the full methodology behind the score, including the rule taxonomy and severity scale, at /methodology.
