Give each property URL one job
A room page answers the stay. An offer page answers a dated package. A journal article answers a commissioning question. Mixing a talent call-to-action into a rate paragraph makes both jobs harder to extract.
Show verified property facts
Name, location language the hotel already publishes, amenities the team will stand behind, and how to inquire or book. Google’s AI-features guidance starts from indexed, snippet-eligible pages. A special AI text file is not required.
Do not invent what the page cannot prove
No fabricated awards, occupancy figures or exclusive hotel affiliations. Helpful-content guidance is a useful test: would a guest still trust the page if the adjectives were removed?
Match markup to the visible stay
Structured data should repeat the visible hotel name, page URL and the booking or inquiry path. Do not mark up a price or review that is not on the page.
Send leftover scanner URLs to the live offer
If an older audit or platform path still ranks, it should 301 to talent or hotel search as appropriate. Citation remains an engine decision.
The working checklist
- One guest question per URL.
- Verified facts in the HTML.
- Limits and independence stated.
- Schema matches the page.
- Retired paths redirected.
